tgnck - Chicago CORE Programming

TGNCK currently has three programs available. Our Hygiene Heroes provide toiletries such as toothpaste, a toothbrush, deodorant, socks, and feminine hygiene products for the unsheltered homeless. Paired with our Mobile Meals, we focus on providing access to those who identify as food insecure. This program may include $25 e-gift cards to empower each family to acquire their supplies directly, pre-ordered groceries that must be picked up directly from the store by the client, and/or prepared healthy meals delivered directly to the unsheltered homeless. Our Thanksgiving initiative provides holiday baskets (with all the trimmings) amongst registered and/or nominated families.

We believe that all youth should be prepared to think deeply and to think well so that they have the chance to become innovators, educators, researchers, and leaders who can solve the most pressing challenges facing our nation and our world, both today and tomorrow. Exposing children to STEM learning opportunities and various social skills will increase their interest and influence behaviors their current situations may not provide. TGNCK has partnered with local and remote Science, technology, engineering, and mathematic professionals to create hands-on learning environments within the community.
